Is Trip.com Legit For Flights?

There are SO many booking agencies and websites out there. So why Trip.com?

Great question! I’ve written an entire post about why Trip.com’s flight experience is AMAZING, at this link!

To make it short and sweet: YES, Trip.com is VERY much legit for flights!

What Makes Trip.com So Good?

As mentioned earlier, I discuss Trip.com’s flight experience at length in this post.

But I’ll briefly recap here, so you can quickly see why Trip.com’s flight experience is so fantastic.

1. Their Customer SErvice is Fantastic

Travel issues happen, and it’s helpful to book with a company that knows how to handle them!

In short: Trip.com is helpful, professional, and it’s SUPER easy to get connected to a human being.

I wrote about several of my personal stories about Trip.com’s customer service in this post, so you can read more details on that!

When flight delays/cancellations/problems occur, having good customer service to help makes a world of difference!

2. You’ll Know EVErything about your flight

I just completed a flight which I booked through Trip.com last month. It was from Asia to the USA, and had a layover.

Throughout the nearly 30 hours of traveling, the airline we were flying with made some adjustments to our schedule. I immediately received push notifications on my phone, as well as an email.

From check-in reminders, to updates on the status of my flight, to being able to read so many stats on the plane and flight route, everything you could want to know is at your fingertips!

I am a logistics freak, so having so many details about my flight was something I loved!

3. From Booking to Flying, everything is super easy

Booking flights on Trip.com is just as legit as booking through most other travel sites!

It’s easy to search, select, and save your seats. Policies are straightforward, so there aren’t any nasty surprises or endless lists of fine print.

What you see is what you get, and booking flights is a cinch!

4. The Flight Add-Ons are GREAT!

Besides the flight itself, there are lots of options which can be added onto your flight.

Once you book your flight, you’ll be able to see all of these add-ons!

Lounges, baggage protection, flight insurance…and even more!

All of these add-ons can be easily found and accessed in the app. So if you aren’t sure about them while booking, it’s easy to add them later if you change your mind!

5. Feeling Spontaneous? Trip.com Gets it!

I actually found this feature while writing this post: you can select a city and search for flights going ANYWHERE from that city!

In the “Explore Map” flight tab, select a starting city, and see all the possibilities!

If you’re a last-minute, spontaneous kind of traveler, then this is a totally amazing feature.

I may or may not already be planning a last-minute April trip thanks to this little feature… 😂

So Should I book flights on Trip.com?

YES, absolutely!! For their great customer service, ease of usage, and clear policies, they’re a win in my book!

I had the best experience when flying with them, and I would immediately do it again!

From the incredible customer service, to the fantastic amount of communication, flying with Trip.com is a smooth and comfortable experience.
